Note that the daytime temperatures in Lake Havasu rarely dip below 65 degrees even during December – January.  While you may not choose to go water skiing during January, there is still a lot to do during that time of year.  You can fish right off the beach in front of you.  There’s a balloon festival every year in January.  Check out the event calendar here https://www.golakehavasu.com/annual-event-calendar
